VP’s Birthday Celebrations

Our Vice Principal, Mr. Brian McKertish turnd a year older and we at SJBHS were delighted to join him in celebrating the day.

The students wished Mr. McKertish during the special assembly, through prayers and greetings and through the day as they walked into his office with beaming smiles and happy faces. The staff had an after-school event to felicitate the man of the moment. The short but significant programme commenced with a prayer and continued in a lighter vein with a medley of songs and a video presentation on the life, work and story of the Vice Principal at SJBHS.

The cake was cut and the birthday song echoed through the venue. The Principal, Fr Sunil Fernandes SJ, spoke on the occasion referring to the Vice Principal as a blessing to the school, a man on a mission to take the school to greater heights of glory and a true leader who leads by example. The Vice Principal then thanked the gathering for the love and affection showered on him through the day especially from the staff and students. He said that it was indeed a blessing to be a part of the Josephite family and a privilege to be associated with the Jesuits who have had refined him as a person.
