Transcendence

A challenging scavenger hunt around campus through QR codes, a test of knowledge in the laws of electronics, a two day gaming battle, and a good old fashioned science and tech quiz – all these events and more were the highlight of Transcendence 2018 – an inter school annual science and technology festival.

This was SJBHS’s second annual science and technology fest. This year’s fest had a whopping 471 participants from over 18 schools, more than double the turnout from last year!

On the 29th and 30th of June, city schools joined together at the school in a shared love and passion for science and the evolvement of technology in our modern and fast paced world. What attracted the massive participation this year, besides the dozens of unique, exciting, and thought provoking events, was the panel discussion hosted on the second day in the auditorium. It featured eminent scientists and tech entrepreneurs who inspired the younger, tech driven generation to pursue their quest for knowledge.

A great success, this will be a tough one to outdo. The tireless efforts of the students and teachers of the science department was obvious and well appreciated.
