In keeping with tradition, SJBHS celebrated Teacher’s Day on the 5th of September this year with much fanfare and the joyous participation of the students. In spite of the hectic schedule of the sports day which took place just the day before, the students found time to rehearse for the short programme they affectionately put up for their beloved teachers.

A spectacular Bollywood dance number by the students of Std 10, a soul-lifting song by the ISC choir, the melodious rendition of an inspirational song by the Pre Primary and beat boxing by the Std 10, left no one in doubt of our students’ talent and enthusiasm.

The PTA of our school organised a programme in the school auditorium. Our Rector, Rev.Fr. Anthony Joseph SJ, former Principal Rev. Fr. Hedwig Da Costa SJ, former Vice Principal Mr. Charles Noronha, our Principal Rev. Fr. Clifford Sequira SJ, Primary Administrator Rev. Fr. Robert Rodriguez SJ and Vice Principal Mrs. Miriam Angelo were present to grace the occasion and greet the SJBHS family of teachers on their special day. The PTA also felicitated a few old teachers who had served the school for many years and conducted a fun filled quiz for all present for entertainment.

The eventful day came to an end with a scrumptious feast arranged by the PTA as a token of their appreciation to the pillars of the institution- the teachers of SJBHS.
