Baldwin Shield Inter-School Football U-16 tournament

SJBHS claimed victory with a stellar performance, securing the championship title in the Baldwin Shield Inter-School Football U-16 tournament. Manith Mandanna's exceptional goalkeeping skills shone brightly, as he was declared the Best Goalkeeper.


CISCE National Athletic Meet

Our outstanding students recently participated in the prestigious CISCE National Athletic Meet. The resounding achievements of our athletes are nothing short of spectacular. Haleemah Fazilath soared to victory with a silver in not only one but three events-100 m, 200 m, and 4x100 m relay. Keith Michael Gonsalves seized gold in the 4x400 m relay and added a bronze medal in the fiercely competitive 400 m event.


Inter School Golf Championship

Our budding golf talents, Adithya J Kamath from Std 8 and Aniket Akhilesh from Std 6 left an indelible mark at the Inter School Golf Championship hosted by Head Start Educational Academy, Bengaluru. Adithya J Kamath secured second place in the 13-15 years category. In the U-13 category, Aniket Akhilesh secured third place.


Golf

Head Start Educational Academy hosted the Inter-School Golf Tournament at the Karnataka Golf Association. Divit Sridhar of Std 8 was the 'Closest to Pin Winner' and secured the Runner-Up position in the B Category.


International FIDE Rapid Chess Tournament

The Karnataka Fencing Association Organized the State Fencing Championship 2023. Ankur Patel demonstrated exceptional skill in the U-14 category, claiming a bronze medal.


1st Bindu Cup Open National Taekwondo Championship

Our students participated in the 1st Bindu Cup Open National Taekwondo Championship 2023. In a riveting display of martial arts skill, in the Sub-Junior Boys category, Samarthh V of Std 6E secured a gold medal in Kyorugi (fight) and Poomsae. Sai Vignesh of Std 6A and Rohan Sudhakar of Std 6C showcased their talent, clinching a silver medal in Kyorugi (fight) and Poomsae.


State Fencing Championship

The Karnataka Fencing Association Organized the State Fencing Championship 2023. Ankur Patel demonstrated exceptional skill in the U-14 category, claiming a bronze medal.


CISCE Basketball Nationals

In a glorious display of teamwork and skill, our students Vedant Vora, Hursh Merlecha, and Diganth B Girish from Std 12 proudly represented Team Karnataka at the CISCE Basketball Nationals held in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. In the U-19 category, the trio secured the 1st place.


Khaleel Mekhri Trophy

The Old Boys' Association (OBA) Football Team triumphed in the Khaleel Mekhri Trophy organized by the Old Cottonian Association on October 21, 2023. Congratulations on your well-deserved triumph.


IGU BioGen Rotary Amateur National Championship

Anvitha Narender, a student in the 12th grade, demonstrated her outstanding skills and commitment at the IGU BioGen Rotary Amateur National Championship hosted by the Karnataka Golf Association. Anvitha not only took part but emerged as the winner, clinching the prestigious first place in both the A Category (below 18 years) and the Women's Category.


4th State Ranking Skating Championship

In an exciting tale of wheels and victories, Arjun S Kumar of Std 5 participated in the 4th State Ranking Skating Championship held in Mysuru. He clinched a gold medal in the 200-meter and 500-meter Rink events and a silver medal in the 200-meter Road category.


Dasara CM Cup 2023

Daniel Paul J, of Std 8, took part in the Dasara CM Cup 2023 held in Mysuru and emerged victorious by securing a gold medal in the 200m breaststroke event.


CISCE National Swimming Championship

Creating ripples of success, our students took part in the CISCE National Swimming Championship. The outcomes were truly remarkable. In the U-14 Boys Category, Adrian Neil Serrao claimed a gold medal in the 50m and 200m backstroke, a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke, and a silver medal in the 4X100 medley relay. Abdeali Tambawala secured a bronze medal in the 50m backstroke and a silver medal in the 4X100 medley relay.
In the U-17 Boys Category, Daniel Paul J won a bronze medal in the 200m breaststroke. J. T. Surya earned a bronze medal in the 100m freestyle and 4X100m freestyle relay, and a gold medal in the 4X100m medley relay. M. Dheeraj added to the glory with a bronze medal in the 4x100m freestyle relay.
In the U-19 Boys Category, Swayam A clinched a gold medal in the 100m freestyle and 50m backstroke, and a silver medal in the 100m butterfly, 4x100 medley relay and 4x100 freestyle relay. Aditya Shroff secured a silver medal in the 4x100m freestyle relay and a bronze medal in the 50m butterfly event.


Karnataka State Junior Athletic Championship

Our standout performer, Haleemah Fazilath of Std 12 A, illuminated the tracks at the Karnataka State Junior Athletic Championship held in Mangalore. Haleemah secured the bronze not only in one but in two thrilling events—the 100m and 200m run.


CISCE National Pre-Subroto Football Cup

The young talents of St Joseph’s Boys' High School U-17 football team exhibited their remarkable skills on the field, securing the title of Runners-Up in the electrifying showdown of the CISCE National Pre-Subroto Football Cup hosted in the vibrant city of Kolkata. The riveting match saw a valiant clash between SJBHS Karnataka and Don Bosco Kerala.


CISCE Regional Badminton Championship

The students of St Joseph's Boys' High School participated in the CISCE Regional Badminton Championship hosted at Greenwood High. Our students showcased their talent and determination in various categories. In the U-17 and U-14 team events, SJBHS demonstrated their prowess by securing 1st place. Additionally, in the U-19 team event, SJBHS performed admirably, securing 2nd place. These accomplishments reflect the commitment of our young athletes and the effort they put into their training.


CISCE Regional Table Tennis Tournament

The recently concluded CISCE Regional Table Tennis Tournament showcased impressive performances by the students from St. Joseph's Boys' High School. In the U-14 category, Vedant Vashisht of Std 7 showcased his skills, securing 2nd place and earning a spot in the Nationals. The U-14 team secured 3rd place. Similarly, in the U-17 category, the team secured 3rd place. In the U-19 category, Sanheer Chabbria of Std 11 stood out by securing 1st place and earning a well-deserved spot in the Nationals. Our U-19 team also secured 3rd place in the team event. These achievements underscore the dedication and skill of our athletes and the teamwork they exhibited throughout the tournament.


Golf Tournament

The South Zone IGU Golf Tournament took place at Clover Greens, where Aditya J Kamath from Std 8 participated and secured the second position.


Inter School Swimming Competition

Adrian Neil Serrao, Daniel Paul J, Yuvan Aditya S and Abdeali M Tambawala took part in the Inter School Swimming Competition (Std 10 and below) organized by Baldwin Boys’ High School. They achieved a remarkable feat by winning the silver medal in the 4x50 meters Freestyle Relay event.


Karnataka State Swimming Championship

The talented students of St Joseph's Boys' High School took part in the Karnataka State Swimming Championship (Juniors) held at Basavangudi Aquatic Centre, where they demonstrated their remarkable swimming skills. Daniel Paul's exceptional performance led to outstanding achievements, as he earned a silver medal in the 200-meter breaststroke event and a bronze medal in the 100-meter breaststroke event. Additionally, Yuvan showcased his talent and secured a bronze medal in the 50-meter butterfly stroke event.
Swayam A of Std 12 won Silver in the 4x100 medley relay in the Senior category.


CISCE Regional Boxing Championship

Mohit Kumaran R has been selected to represent Karnataka in the highly esteemed Open Junior Nationals. Considered one of India's most significant boxing competitions, this prestigious event is organized by the Boxing Federation of India, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, and the Sports Authority of India (SAI). The competition will take place in Arunachal Pradesh.

Mohit Kumaran R has achieved another incredible feat by winning a gold medal at the CISCE Regional Boxing Championship. He emerged victorious in the U-17 (52-54 kg) category, which took place at Christ The King School.


40th Karnataka State G4 Taekwondo Championship

The students of St Joseph's Boys' High School actively participated in the 40th Karnataka State G4 Taekwondo Championship (2023), held at Sree Sai Palace and Convention Hall, Bengaluru. They won 4 gold and 4 silver medals as a result of their outstanding performance.
Samarth V, 6E displayed exceptional skills and secured a gold medal in Kyorugi (fight) and Poomsae events.
Sai Vignesh, 6A demonstrated impressive talent and earned a silver medal in Kyorugi (fight) and Poomsae.
Mohammad Ismaeel, 6E showcased his skills by winning a gold medal in Kyorugi (fight) and a silver medal in Poomsae.
Yuvan Ashik, 4E demonstrated his remarkable abilities by securing a gold medal in Kyorugi (fight) and a silver medal in Poomsae.



CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) Regional and Pre-Subroto Football Cup

St. Joseph's Boys' High School participated in the recently conducted CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) Regional and Pre-Subroto Football Cup, which took place at Greenwood High School. The U-17 category witnessed the participation of 36 teams from all over Karnataka, while the U-19 category had 14 participating teams.

In a stunning display of skill and determination, the U-17 team from St. Joseph's Boys' High School emerged victorious in the final of the CISCE Regional and Pre-Subroto Football Cup. Their outstanding performance earned them the esteemed title of champions. As a result, the team has earned the privilege of representing Karnataka at the upcoming National Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament, scheduled to be held in Kolkata in July.

In another remarkable achievement, the U-19 team showcased their exceptional abilities by beating Mallya Aditi International School in the final of the CISCE Regional Football Tournament, securing the championship crown.
