Pre-Primary Fun Day

Independence Day Celebrated

A great sense of patriotism was seen on the faces, in the minds and hearts of our tiny Josephites on account of the Fun Day event which had Independence Day as the topic for the month of August.

As part of the Fun Day activity, a series of events were held which proved to be a big hit. The first day of the three days of the festivities included a 'food art' competition under the banner of 'Taste of India, Indi- licious', wherein the students were asked to arrange and pack food in their snack box in a way that represented national symbol /flag/shapes/scenery or anything creative and speak a few lines on the same. The hardwork and enthusiasm of the parents could be seen in the way they had packed their child’s food imaginatively.

The second day had a few of the students dressed in tricolour clothes. They were taken to all the LKG and UKG classes to speak about their beloved country, India. The children displayed great confidence and enthusiasm and looked truly patriotic in their tricolour attire.

The third day was a day of great celebration and a khadi memento and a small Indian flag was given to the tiny ones who came dressed in tricoloured clothes to display their love for their country. The hardwork of the Josephite team in making this Fun Day successful was clearly visible by the way they organised the Independence Day Programme!
