Hindi Diwas - 2015

SJBHS celebrated Hindi Diwas from 19th Aug to 15th Sept 2015. The theme this year was ‘Pragatisheel’, i.e. being progressive. Our students came forward and participated enthusiastically in the various competitions.

The programme began with a written examination Rashtrabhasha Prachar - 2015, which was attempted by students of Std 2 to Std 9.
The competition categories were elocution, speech, creative writing and debate in Hindi.

On 15th September we concluded the celebration with a special assembly in Hindi. The students showed their talents with speeches, songs and poems. A host of prizes and certificates were given out by our Principal Rev. Fr. Clifford Sequeira, S.J., Vice Principal Mrs Miriam Angelo and Primary Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Sunil Fernandes, S.J.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks given by the students who thanked our Principal and honoured him with a Memento.
