Dr. Vani highlighted the risks of childhood obesity and its complications in the long term as an adult.
Dr. Prithvish educated the parents especially mothers, on how to encourage their children to develop better eating habits. He also shared some ideas to make simple, traditional and nutritious meals, in direct contrast to what children watch on TV.
An excellent interactive panel discussion followed. The panel of doctors moderated by a PTA member Dr. Subramanya, clarified many myths and facts about food and nutrition.
