Fun Day Of The Month - June

The Kindergarten Josephites kick-started the academic year 2015-16 with a warm and healthy smile. As the saying truly goes, “a smile is the prettiest thing you’ll ever wear”, and the first fun day for the month of June started with a visit by a dentist on 23rd of June, 2015.

Doctor Mamatha was welcomed by the Principal of SJBHS Rev. Fr. Clifford Sequeira, Vice Principal and Administrator of the Primary Section Fr. Sunil Fernandes, Vice Principal Mrs. Miriam Angelo and the coordinator Mrs. Jenitha. Doctor Mamatha is a dentist by profession and has completed her B.S, B.D.S, CC (Endo). She is presently working as a consultant endodontic in Vikram hospital and St. John’s Dental Clinic.

Dr. Mamatha was enthusiastically invited in every class by the little ones and their cute smiles. The children were excited and curious to know every detail given to them, by the doctor. Dr. Mamatha patiently explained to the children how to take care while brushing their teeth twice a day and washing their mouths after every meal. The children were very eager and learnt the basics of “Dental Management”. The session was interactive and ignited the young minds about the value of teeth care. At the end of the session, the children applauded and thanked the doctor for her visit. Needless to say, Dr. Mamatha was over whelmed by their “toothy” grins.
