Mera Bharath Mahaan
Our little students of LKG and UKG welcomed the Independence Day through their diverse culture, united spirit and fun activities.
Dressed to represent different states of India:
A group of students from across LKG and UKG sections were dressed in the attire of the different states, representing the four different zones of our country: Punjab from the north, Sikkim from the east, Karnataka from the south and Goa from the west. Each of them spoke about the state they belonged to, the language they spoke, the famous things in their places like mountains from north, beaches in the west, idly and dosa in the south and the famous Olympic boxer Mary Kom from east.
The teachers-in-charge took the students around all the classes of the pre-primary and explained how the day of Independence is significant in the history of India.
LKG Colour the National Flag:
The students were given small cut outs of a flag and were asked to fill them with the tricolours. Children were very excited and coloured their National flag with a sense of pride.
