French Lit Fest 2019

The inaugural edition of the Annual French Lit Fest was held from 16th to 18th October 2019. It attracted students from Stds 4 to 9, with varying levels of skill.

The aim of the fest was to create a learning environment wherein children participate in events that attract attention and create interest in the language.

Quizzes based on French culture, history and literature were held for Stds 4 and 8. Students of Stds 5 and 7 enthusiastically participated in poetry recitations. A competition in short story telling and creative writing was conducted for Std 9.

The Fest hopes to get children to engage, explore and experiment with all forms and genres of the written word. As a foreign language, practice and motivation are critical
