Christian Life Community

The inauguration on July 13, 2023, commenced with an introduction to CLC. The lighting of the lamp was followed by a prayer and a prayer song after which, a verse from the Bible was read (Jeremiah Chapter 29 Verse 11-14). The Vice-Principal Mr. Brian Mckertish spoke a few words. He said that CLC was founded in 1563 and is present in 60 countries. He said that CLC draws its inspiration from the life and work of St Ignatius of Loyola. The CLC follows a Gospel life style. We also show our love and dedication to the Virgin Mary.

The Principal, Fr Sunil Fernandes SJ was invited to address the gathering. He stated the 3 pillars of Jesuit education, namely, character formation, social concern and academic excellence.

At the end, the vote of thanks was given followed by a group photograph and snacks. The CLC inauguration marked the beginning of the annual activities, Seminars and Outreach programmes that encompassed the work of the Christian Life Community.
