The online Children's Day programme was released to much anticipation of the waiting Josephites.
The line-up of fun performances was prefaced by a prayer song "purify my soul", where the school's music team called upon God, to retain the purity and innocence of childhood in each one of us.
Fr. Vishal D'Souza became a carrier of prayers and heartfelt wishes for our children, on behalf of all staff. The middle school teachers then presented two musical numbers to get the shining stars of SJBHS foot-tapping. Our Principal Fr. Sunil Fernandes shared the historical relevance of the day, along with small steps to soak in the goodness of this blessed phase of life.
Taking over a whole street by storm, next were the pre-primary teachers with their colourful and peppy rendition of several popular songs.
Administrator, Fr. Vishal D'Souza, presented his greetings and appreciation for the boys, in the most succinct manner.
Recalling the melodies they enjoyed in their childhood, the High School teachers next presented a medley of old Hindi songs. The primary section teachers then took to the stage with their hilarious dance-musical drama, ensuring claps and laughs in equal measure.
Expressing gratitude for the effort and time put in by teachers for stitching together this piece of entertainment, the programme ended with a vote of thanks proposed by a student.
