St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School proudly hosted the second edition of its commerce fest, Bifrost, with a formal inaugural by Mr. Prinston Adel Pereira, Old Boy and an accomplished entrepreneur with over 200 unique products in his design studio 'PALASA'.
The erudite and eloquent Jesuit speaker Rev Fr Joe Arun SJ, Director of St. Joseph’s Institute of Management Studies, Trichy was the resource person for the teachers’ training program. It was held on the 14th of September 2018 in the SJBHS auditorium. The training programme designed by Fr Joe was an eye opening and soul searching experience.
A much awaited event, Bifrost 2018 was held on the 6th and 7th of September and attended by over 15 schools from all across the city, vying against each other to come out on top.
According to Norse mythology, Bifrost is a rainbow bridge that connects different realms of the world to one another. In similar context, the fest aims to connect the various aspects of commerce, such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Public Relations. There were also individual events namely, Best Manager and Simulation, which required the participants to make the most of their skills and abilities and deliver their best performance.
For the first time, Bifrost also hosted ICSE schools from across the city with events like Product Launch, Crisis Management, Brand Makeover and Best Manager. This gave the students a glimpse of what lies ahead and prepared them for the challenges accompanying it.
Finally, Advertising and branding professional Prof. (Dr) Smitha Sarma Ranganathan, awarded Christ Junior College the trophy for being Overall Winners. Another successful edition of Bifrost came to an end.
