The Annual Speech Day and Prize Distribution

The Annual Speech Day and Prize Distribution for Seniors, works as a motivation for young minds. The distribution of certificates of appreciation encourages them to put in their best efforts in order to achieve their goal.

The lighting of the lamp marked the beginning of the programme. It was followed by a song by our school choir and two dances by the ISC students. Father Principal presented the annual report in an innovative manner portraying a visual display of all the achievements through the academic year 2017-18; every Josephite felt proud and blessed to be in this great institution.

An entertainment programme by the middle school students and ISC dancers followed next. The school's rich history was mentioned in the speech by Fr. Hedwig Da Costa, Former Principal at SJBHS, who presided over the function.

Dr. CS Rajan was the chief guest and his inspiring words regarding the ‘CS Philosophy will forever remain with us. Then followed the prize distribution ceremony where students of Stds 6 to 12 were rewarded for their academic performance during the academic year 2017-18. It was wonderful to see so many students receiving merit certificates, trophies and cash prizes.

The smiles on the faces of the proud parents and grandparents, the radiant countenances of the prize winners as well as the general vibe of striving for excellence, was testimony to a year well spent and a future in good hands.
