Aquatic Meet 2016

Finding the Michael Phelps of SJBHS!
The Annual Aquatic Meet of SJBHS was held on 16th Nov 2016, and was a day filled with excitement, passion, success for some and traces of disappointments for others. There were thrills in store for participants as well as onlookers.

As with all events at SJBHS, the Aquatic Meet, 2016, commenced with a prayer calling on the Almighty to oversee fair play, sportsmanship and the safety of the swimmers. The Meet began with all the Freestyle events and continued with the much anticipated inter-school relays. The junior relay team secured the second place. The senior team had to face stiff competition from the Bishop Cotton team as well as the Cathedral High School team. They pushed themselves beyond their limits and made it to second place. The Breaststroke and Backstroke events followed.

The post lunch session saw the chief guest, Mr. Hakimuddin Habibulla, Old Boy and distinguished swimmer who represented India in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, arrive in time to witness the inter-house relays. The prize distribution ceremony not only commended the winners but also applauded the individual champions from each of the categories as follows:
