Social Innovation Lab Project

Social Innovation Lab in collaboration with SJBHS is a platform where students are encouraged to focus on resolving social issues with innovative ideas and measures. The students of today are trained to think differently, act different and perform in a manner beneficial to the society at large.

The students of Std 11 presented their project work on October 13, 2023 which they had been working on for the last 8 weeks. Microplastics in water, women trafficking, Impact of Artificial Intelligence on jobs and urban heating were a few topics that were presented. The audience got to learn a lot about the various social issues and what could be done to overcome them. Mr Vijay Nazareth, the Social Innovation Lab lead along with many other OBA members attended these presentations and shared their valuable inputs.

The Social Innovation Lab is guided by the joint efforts of the OBA and the teachers. Though it is an ongoing process, the guidance by the mentors, the research done by the students and the extensive help rendered by the parents, makes this activity at SJBHS a hands-on, in-depth and for-the times kind of experience for all the stakeholders.
