SJBHS Mock United Nations (MUN)

SJBHSMUN simulates the functioning of the United Nations and students act as a representative of a country to solve issues with other delegates from around the globe. The purpose of MUN is to recognize issues, understand differences, discover commonality and explore solutions.

In this edition of SJBHSMUN, delegates took part in the International Labour Organization, Joint Crisis Committee (Sovetsky and Atlantic), Historic Lok Sabha, United Nations Security Council, Social Cultural and Humanitarian Committee, Tricontinental Committee and the first ever Kannada based committee in the Bangalore MUN Circuit, namely, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike. SJBHSMUN 2023 discussed various issues both from the present-day and the past. Agendas ranged from studying alternatives to the ISIL & Al-Qaeda Sanction Regime of the UNSC to The Naxalbari Crisis of the Lok Sabha.

SJBHSMUN has left and will always leave a lasting impact on students. It will definitely help students grow and think independently, yet collectively.
