The New Academic Year & Birthday Celebrations for our Beloved Principal

The first of June 2022 heralded immense hope as our students entered SJBHS after two, long and challenging years.

Another reason to smile was the birthday celebration of our beloved Principal, Father Sunil Fernandes SJ.

The day began with a special assembly to give thanks to God for the numerous blessings bestowed upon us. Nostalgia filled the air as the school song was heard enveloping the campus. The entire school sang the ‘Birthday Song’ in unison for our dear Father Sunil.


The birthday celebration extended to the auditorium where all the staff members had gathered.

Mr Uday Kumar, former Vice Principal, Mr Brian Mckertish, Vice Principal, Fr Vishal D’Souza, the Primary School Administrator and Fr. Michael John, our Former Principal, showered Fr. Sunil with warm wishes and shared pleasant memories. Our Principal is a much-loved individual with a broad mind and a large heart who accommodates everyone most lovingly.

Father shared some light moments and expressed his gratitude to God for the gift of life.

This fun- filled first day at school came to a close with Father Sunil cutting the birthday cake and inviting the staff to have a fellowship meal.
