Christmas is one of the happiest and most magical times of the year! The Pre-Primary unit brought joy and festive cheer with their Christmas assembly held on 17 th December 2024. It was a heartwarming and joyful celebration that brought together the Pre-primary family.

The assembly began with a Prayer, seeking for peace and happiness to all. A delightful Nativity play was performed by the UKG students, showing the significance of the birth of Christ followed by a mesmerising Christmas dance.

Students spoke about a few special things like the Star, the Manger, the Christmas tree, Santa Claus and Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer that make Christmas so meaningful and wonderful. The students and teachers sang and danced to the Christmas carols with gusto, spreading holiday cheer to all.

Santa Claus made a surprise appearance, dancing around and taking photos with the excited students.

The Primary School Administrator, Fr Norvin Pereira SJ and the Vice Principal Mr Brian McKertish too participated in the joy and excitement. The VP gave the Christmas message to the young Josephites saying we need to learn to be humble and kind just as Jesus Christ showed us. He reiterated the message saying we can achieve this by some of the simplest things like being obedient to our parents and loving them just as much as they love us. The assembly ended with the State and The National Anthem.

To make the day exceptional, a Carol Singing Competition for LKG and Christmas clay modelling competition for UKG was conducted for students in their respective classrooms. Students came well prepared with eagerness to showcase their creativity and talent. The classrooms were decorated with colourful and shimmery cutouts and chart work of Christmassy star, Santa, Xmas tree, Rudolf, Christmas wreath etc. prepared by students out of the activity sheets given to them earlier.

The kindergarten Christmas assembly sure did set the right tone to the beginning of a magical festive season, with joy, love, and spirit of the season lasting with us throughout the year.
