On November 15, 2023, the grounds of SJBHS were dressed in vibrant colours to welcome more than 400 parents and students to the first-ever Art and Craft Exhibition, titled ‘Meraki’. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms Rachel Shibani, founder of My Master Strokes and Mr S A Vimalanathan, an international artist.

The Greek word ‘Meraki’ means the soul, creativity, or love that you put into something; putting the very essence of yourself into your work.

The art work of students and teachers reflected Meraki and offered a visual treat of creativity and craftsmanship. Adults and children flocked to the live counters to create their own art and craft. It was a day well spent.
