The auditorium of St Joseph’s Boys’ High School was filled with extreme joy, excitement, and happiness as it was a big day for the UKG Boys. It was the Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony. A first of its kind since the inception of the Pre-Primary Department at SJBHS.

From their first shaky and nervous steps in the school to mastering their ABCs, these little graduates were seen walking so proudly and confidently as they embarked on their next stage of education that is from Pre-Primary to Primary school. The event began with them invoking God’s blessings by lighting the auspicious lamp followed by a beautiful prayer led by the UKG Boys. The parents were welcomed by our Primary School Administrator, Rev Fr Norwin Pereira SJ. Our principal Rev Fr Sunil Fernandes SJ addressed the gathering and appreciated the parents and teachers for whatever they do for these little ones. The ceremony began with the Solemn Walk, where each section along with their respective teachers walked to the stage and sang a beautiful rendition. The auditorium resonated with their voices as the melodious chorus filled every corner of the space. The parents applauded the efforts put in by the teachers for training the little graduates; they cheered the little Josephites for their cooperation and whole-hearted involvement in the proceedings. To share their experience as a parent at SJBHS, we also had two parents going down memory lane when their child walked into the school gate with shaky steps on the first day of their school and their journey so far. The event concluded with the UKG boys thanking and expressing their gratitude to everyone from the Management to the teachers to the admin and the support staff.

Thus, it was a day to make memories and to look forward to an exciting new journey that lay before these little Josephites!!!
