Sports Fiesta 2024

‘Impossible is Nothing’

The Annual Sports Fiesta, held on September 17, 2024 with the theme ‘Impossible is Nothing’, was a resounding success. The event kicked off with an inspiring inauguration. Dr Santhosh Adam led the staff in prayer, followed by a beautiful rendition of the school song. Mr Alex D’Silva conducted the oath-taking ceremony, setting a tone of fairness and competition for the day. Our Principal, Fr Sunil Fernandes, delivered a heartfelt address, emphasizing the significance of love, friendship, and relationships. He then officially declared the sports meet open, encouraging all participants to give their very best.

The day's events began with the thrilling Lemon and Spoon Race, followed by the Shuttle Relay, Lagori, and the ever-energetic Tug of War. The excitement reached new heights with a vibrant flash mob performance from the four houses—St Andrew’s, St David’s, St George’s, and St Patrick’s—adding to the lively atmosphere.

After a thrilling day of sports and entertainment, the highlight of the event finally arrived: the prize distribution. Each house showcased the theme behind their flags, leading up to the grand moment. St David's claimed the overall championship, while St Andrew's proudly took the runners-up position, bringing the event to a memorable close.

The Sports Fiesta was a day brimming with enthusiasm, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments, perfectly capturing the essence of the theme 'Impossible is Nothing’.
