Mr. John Wesley Uday Kumar Vice Principal of SJBHS

Mr. John Wesley Uday Kumar is a teacher who rose to the ranks of the Vice Principal, a mentor who led by example and wonderful colleague.

Mr. Uday Kumar took one final bow after 37 years and 5 months of yeoman service to St Joseph’s Boy’s High School. He started his career at SJBHS in 1985, and grew from strength to strength. The felicitation ceremony began with a prayer for the guest of honour. All eyes turned heavenwards as the staff prayed for Mr. Uday Kumar to be continually blessed with good health, happiness and a peaceful retirement.

Songs and messages honoured the outgoing Vice Principal. A video down memory lane highlighted his love and affection for all and his commitment to SJBHS.

Mr. Uday Kumar was felicitated with a garland, a peta, a memento and a plant. In his message, Mr. Uday thanked all his past Principals, his colleagues and the support staff.

Fr. Sunil Fernandes SJ, Principal of SJBHS, put on record the legacy that ‘the inspirational leader’ had created and wished him the very best in life. The felicitation came to end with a fellowship dinner. The day may have ended but the outgoing Vice Principal will be remembered, cherished and valued for years to come!
