The graduating batch of Std 10 and 12 have become full-fledged saplings, absorbing the values and culture of SJBHS. They have now blossomed and as they prepare to leave the secure portals of the school and step out into the future, they took one final bow on stage with their traditional ‘Farewell Assembly’.
The emotions of gratitude and love for the school; their pain of parting; and their excitement of conquering new vistas were on full display. The songs sung, the skits enacted, the speeches delivered and the dances and poems were a manifestation of their emotional state of mind. They thanked one and all, they recalled their slow and steady journey through years of faith and toil, and they sure did shed many a tear remembering the good, the very good and the best!
Fr Sunil Fernandes SJ, Principal of SJBHS, in his message, advised the students to remember two acronyms CSA – Character formation, Social concern and Academic excellence; and SWAC – Showing the way to God, Walking with the excluded, Journeying with the youth and Caring for our common home, so as to be able to succeed in future and in life itself, especially as a Josephite - now and always! 12 A
