Christmas Programme

Celebrated on 19th December, 2019, staff members sang a carol for the students. This was followed by Fr Principal's Christmas message and carols presented by students, in French. Next was a musical drama based on the Bible verse – ‘It’s not by might nor by power but by my spirit’- put up by the students, a retelling of the Christmas story through carols. The prizes for carol singing competition were distributed. The ISC presented their rendition of Christmas carols, which was followed by the entry of Santa Claus.

The noon programme for the staff began in the auditorium with a prayer, carol singing and the Principal's message, especially for the staff, on the theme of ‘giving, forgiving and thanksgiving’. This was followed by the office staff ringing in the Christmas cheer with a dance performance. A short video depicting the joy of Christmas sharing was played, followed by a pantomime depicting the Christmas story, by the teachers of Stds 1 to 4. An icebreaking session and a three minute Santa-dressing competition were organized by Pre Primary teachers. Fr. Brian Pereira, Rector, congratulated the teachers for the programmes and wished everyone for the season. The prizes for ‘Bake-off’ and ‘Tree Ornament’ making competitions for the staff were given away. Our Vice Principal, Mr. Uday Kumar's birthday was celebrated. Ms. Chinth Shobana, coordinator for the Christmas programmes, 2019, delivered the vote of thanks. After grace, the staff proceeded towards lunch.

The holidays had begun with the spirit of cheer, the joy of sharing and the warm feeling of belonging to the Josephite family!
