Rajyotsava

Since 1956, Kannada Rajyotsava is celebrated every year on November 1. It is also known as Karnataka state formation day where all the Kannada language-speaking regions of South India were merged to form our state.
We celebrated the Kannada Rajyotsava Day virtually in our school on November 1st with a short programme. The Principal, Vice Principal and our primary administrator along with the Kannada teachers started off with lighting of the lamp, followed by the hoisting of the state flag. Our chief guest- Sri Gururaj Karajagi's talk was meaningful in the honour of the occasion.
The teachers of SJBHS put up a medley song and a dance show on all the dance forms of Karnataka.

The programme ended with a tribute to the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar.
