The Loyola Technology Center successfully conducted a hands-on workshop on Automation, featuring distinguished speakers Mr. Arjun Meda and Mr. Krishna from Automation Anywhere. The workshop, attended by enthusiastic students, was honored by the presence of Dr. Thomas Philip and Vice Principal Mr Brian Mckertish, who inaugurated the event.
Students from St. Joseph's Boys' High School and St. Joseph's PU College actively participated in the event. The workshop provided an interactive platform for students to learn, explore, and experiment with automation technology. Under the guidance of the speakers, the students developed basic automation solutions, including task-completing bots and game-playing bots. These exercises gave students a practical understanding of automation concepts, allowing them to create simple but effective applications.
In addition to the hands-on experience, students gained valuable insights into the various features and applications of automation in STEM and other fields. The speakers discussed how automation is transforming industries and its potential to contribute to societal development. They also highlighted the importance of automation in the future workforce, encouraging students to think innovatively about how automation can be applied across multiple domains.
Throughout the workshop, students exhibited a high level of curiosity and engagement, frequently interacting with the speakers. They asked insightful questions and shared their thoughts on how automation could shape the future. This interaction fostered an environment of collaborative learning and critical thinking.
The workshop proved to be a valuable learning experience, helping students broaden their understanding of automation and develop relevant skills. The knowledge and experience gained during the event will enable students to contribute meaningfully to society and drive positive change through the application of automation technologies.
