SOCIAL, HUMANITARIAN
AND CULTURAL COMMITTEE
Tackling institutionalised xenophobia, racism, and related intolerance towards refugees.
As the softly glowing flames of empathy fade away into complacency’s dark embrace, humanity once again finds itself at a critical crossroad. Widely ostracised under the tenets of exclusivity and oppression, refugees have historically found themselves strung between the confines of systemic inequality and hopelessness. As delegates of this forum, it is now falls upon you to uphold SOCHUM’s advocacy for the values of compassion, universal brotherhood and solidarity, as you strive to sustain them over the years to come.
