  • AIRCRASH


    Use your wit to convince the pilots to give you the last parachute. This event allows you to get in your character and entertain the audience. Your job is just to be plane awesome but make sure to watch your altitude!

  • MAD ADS


    Advertising is not about what you are selling, but rather how you market your product. This event needs no introduction, but your product surely does.


    Rules:

  • Team event (7+1 members per team)
  • It is a CLOSED event. (The organizers reserve the right to convert a CLOSED event into an OPEN event if the event cap is not met.)
  • Auditions may be held based on the number of registrations
  • Each team will be given 6+2 minutes to perform.
  • No props are allowed
  • Any form of vulgarity and profanity is strongly prohibited. Any form of obscenity will lead to immediate disqualification of the team.
  • Maximum registrations per school/college = 1
  • Maximum number of teams = 25
  • There will be multiple rounds with eliminations.
  • Plagiarism would lead to negative marking or disqualification
  • Each team will be given 6+2 minutes to perform.




  • MOCKROCK


    From Rajnikanth to Michael Jackson, from Apdi Pode to Naaka Mukka, tell your story in the most whimsical fashion possible.

  • Backing tracks will be allowed
  • Auditions may be held based on the number of registrations
  • Any form of vulgarity and profanity is strongly prohibited. Any form of obscenity will lead to immediate disqualification of the team.
  • Each team is required to bring their own props
  • Timings: 3+1 minutes.
  • Maximum registrations per school/college = 1

  • BATTLE OF THE BANDS


    Live and unsigned. Battle it out for bragging rights.


    Rules:

  • Team Event (5+3 members per team)
  • All bands are required to have at least one vocalist
  • No backing tracks will be allowed
  • Use of pre-recorded material is prohibited.
  • Instruments will not be provided by the school (except for a standard drum kit)
  • Misuse of any equipment including mics, wires, and drums will lead to immediate disqualification
  • If all the team members are from one particular school or college, then only one team will be permitted in such a situation
  • Amplifiers will be provided
  • Open registrations may be permitted if the cap for the number of teams is not met. (the team members may be drawn from different schools and colleges)
  • Timings: 5+3 minutes.(5 mins for performance, 3 mins for soundcheck)

  • WESTERN VOCAL SOLO


    Words make you think, Music makes you feel, Just stay on track and never look back.


    Rules:

  • Individual Event
  • Any western style of vocals can be performed.
  • No instruments will be provided and participants must plan an instrument or track if accompaniment is required.
  • an accompanist will be allowed, but no extra points will be awarded for accompaniment
  • All music and media required for events must be submitted at the console 45 minutes prior to the start of the event. The music in .mp3 format, and the media in recognized formats, must be submitted in labeled pen drives.
  • no extra vocals are allowed on the backing track.
  • Timings: 2.5+1 minutes

  • PHOTOGRAPHY


    Frame them, shoot them and hang them on the wall.

  • Individual Event
  • Only DSLRS or digital cameras are to be used. No phone cameras to be used for photography. Participants to carry their own equipment.
  • Participants caught plagiarizing content will be immediately disqualified.
  • All photographs submitted must be timestamped.
  • No photos of any individual must be taken without their permission.
  • There will be multiple rounds with elimination.

  • PENSWORTHY (CREATIVE WRITING)


    ‘Unsheathe’ your pens and let loose the dogs of diction and prepare for the Grand Inquisition.

  • Individual event
  • Each participant must carry their own writing material.
  • Topics and timings will be given on the spot.
  • The use of the Internet is not permitted for any of the rounds.

  • BEATBOXING


    Break away from the notes and make us groove to your beat.

  • Individual Event
  • No instruments and external help are permitted.
  • Use of foul language will lead to disqualification

  • Timings: 2+1 minutes.

  • STREET DANCING


    A culture, a moment in time, and a way of life, influence each other with moves like jagger.

  • WESTERN DANCE SOLO


    Dancers don’t need wings to fly, put on your dancing shoes and wow us with your moves. The stage is your canvas.

  • Individual event
  • If the dance or song choice is inappropriate, the participant will be asked to leave the stage.
  • In case of use of props, they should be brought by participants

  • 3 A SIDE FOOTBALL


    To win together and fall together. From Tikitaka to Brazilian Ginga, exhibit your talents. The world is at your feet!


    Rules:

  • Team Event (3+2 members per team)
  • There are separate categories for boys and girls
  • Players must dress in proper football attire – Jersey, Shorts, Stockings, Shin guards, and Footwear.
  • Players of a team must wear a uniform jersey colour. Eg. red, white, black, etc
  • Teams must report 10 minutes before the scheduled start of their game. Failure to report before the scheduled start time will result in a walkover.
  • Open to grades 11, 12 and 1st year undergraduates
  • Maximum number of teams per category = 16
  • The tournament will have a group stage and then knockouts

  • THE MOVIE BUSINESS (FILMMAKING)


    Cinema is not only about making people dream. Capture extraordinary moments and tell a unique story through your lens.

  • Team Event (4 members per team)
  • Participants have to bring a working camera or phone, and a laptop that has video editing software on it.
  • Participants will be permitted to use the allowed areas of the campus to shoot their films, but are not allowed to leave campus.

  • Participants must have ready access to the internet to upload their films to Google drive.

  • MYSTERY INC. (TREASURE HUNT)


    'X' marks the spot. You can either be extremely cold or extremely hot

  • TABLE TENNIS


    With your paddle and your determination, dominate the table and claim your right to be a champion.

  • There are separate categories for boys and girls
  • Participants need to get their own paddle (racket).

  • DISC-O FEVER (DISC BATTLE)


    Turn the tables on your opponent, whip up a frenzy and bring the hype with your originality and style.


    Rules:

  • Individual Event
  • Each contestant is required to make a mix of about 10 minutes. This mix has to be the contestant’s own mix
  • Each mix will be judged based on the style of mixing, originality, perfection of transitions etc.
  • The mix has to be dance-music based but there is no limitation on the sub-genre
  • Each contestant has to submit the mix on Day 1 of the fest by 12pm.
  • Contestants are required to submit the mix on a labeled pen drive.
  • The top 4 will be chosen by the evening of Day 1 and the results put up at the earliest. The top 4 will get to play on the main stage on Day 2 during the ‘DANCE MUSIC FESTIVAL’ for a maximum of 10 minutes
  • The school will provide the top 4 contenders with 2 CDJ’s and a DJM.
  • Contenders wanting to use any other sort of equipment will have to carry it with them and notify the event heads at the earliest.




  • RAMPAEON (FASHION SHOW)


    Fashion is escapism, not imprisonment. Wear your style as armor and use your confidence as a weapon. Walk the ramp with poise and elegance


    Rules:

  • Team Event (10+2 members per team)
  • Timings: 5+1 minutes
  • Open registrations may be permitted if the cap for the number of teams is not met. (The team members may be drawn from different schools and colleges)
  • If all the team members are from one particular school or college, then only one team will be permitted in such a situation
  • The theme is ‘THROUGH THE CENTURIES'
  • All the participants must carry their own attires and props.
  • Vulgarity is strongly prohibited. Any form of obscenity will lead to immediate disqualification of the team
  • Dress code restrictions will be conveyed to the teams after the registrations close.
  • Violations pertaining to the dress code will lead to disqualification or negative marking.
  • The dimensions of the ramp will be disclosed after the registrations close.
